Why it matters
Prompt engineering is why the same AI tool gives one business polished results and another business generic filler; the difference is often the instructions, not the model. For an owner, this is worth knowing mainly as a reason to prefer a managed service over a raw AI tool, since getting reliable output usually means encoding the business's voice, rules, and edge cases up front. Doing that well is real work, and it is the part most owners would rather hand off than learn.
